Logan is getting more and more expressive... Yesterday he kept grinding his new teeth together when he was concentrating on standing up... it was so loud i actually looked in his mouth to see what he was chewing on! It brought a whole new meaning to the phrase "gnashing of teeth"... that sound was like nails on a chalk board to me! And from the look on his face, it must have hurt! but he just kept on doing it!
This is the face he makes when he is serious about "explaining" stuff to me... it usually sounds like this: " dudd DUD du dud dud"
Here is his "horn blowing" face... this is one of his faves.. maybe he will play the trumpet someday?

So far he will say "mo! mo!" (more), "ba ba" (bottle), "ba" (ball), "wuf wuf" (dog.. but lately almost any furry animal is a "wuf"), "wuv" (lovey), "vroom vroom" (my dad's motorcycle... he's obsessed), "pa" (poppy - my dad), "dada" (dad), "mama" (mom - it's rare, but when he's REALLY tired he will whine "mama"...i'll take it) "nigh nigh" (night night - the boy loves to sleep) and "bye! bye!" ... more on that in the next post... he can understand a LOT of what you say! he will point to lots of things if i say the name of it, and he is very persistent in trying to let me know what he wants... i have a feeling this boy is gonna be very direct in his communication style, just like his mama~
