Lot's of people have been asking me how Linus is adjusting to the new addition.... my parents kept him while we were in the hospital and for a couple of days after we got home. When we went to get him we made sure to praise him and pet him, but he was definitely aware that something was up! Once we got home the dog was very unsure about what was going on... he spent most of day 1 hiding out in his bed, and even barked at the little sounds coming from the bassinet in our room. We are pretty sure that Linus knows his place in the family now, and after a few days of him moping around and acting pretty depressed, he has started to show a little interest in the baby. Here is a pic from yesterday... Linus likes to camp out in his bed whenever the baby is in the pack n play...
Here's a pic of Logan in the vibrating seat... we lovingly refer to this as our "baby crack"... he is hooked... it also attaches to the swing, which makes Logan a very happy boy as well!
Here's Linus on the lookout... i think that eventually he will be a good guard dog...for now he is just a cautious observer

Maggie & Tex were the same way. Poor Mag, the first time she went up to sniff Barrett while Grant's mom was holding him, Bear's leg shot out of the blanket & kicked Maggie in the face. She's just now to the point she'll sit next to him and maybe give him a little lick. Until he starts grabbing for her and then she's out of there again! I think the little dogs are much more put out by the change for some reason.
